Terms & Conditions

Business Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By utilizing the services provided by Longhorn Mobile Detailing ("the Company"), the customer agrees to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Limitation of Liability

Before the detailing appointment begins, the Company will inspect cars for damage. We will make documentation of any damages found upon arrival. Longhorn Mobile Detailing shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our services.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the service location is accurately provided, including any necessary access information such as gate codes. If the service location is within an apartment building, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure adequate space is available for the detailer to detail the car. Additionally, customers must disclose relevant information about the vehicle's condition when booking the service. This comprehensive approach ensures a smooth and efficient detailing process. We appreciate customers' cooperation in facilitating the service and providing comprehensive and precise information to ensure a satisfactory experience.

Accurate Representation of Vehicle Condition

Customers are also responsible for accurately representing the state of the vehicle. If upon inspection by the detailer, additional services are deemed necessary, the detailer will consult the customer before the detail begins. This collaborative approach ensures transparency and allows customers to make informed decisions about any additional services required. We appreciate customers' cooperation in providing accurate information to ensure a satisfactory detailing experience.

Inclement Weather Policy

It is the customer's responsibility to check the weather forecast before booking an appointment. If a customer schedules an appointment and inclement weather is forecasted, it is understood that proceeding with the appointment may result in unsatisfactory detailing outcomes. The customer acknowledges that they agreed to a detail during inclement weather conditions.

In Central Texas we understand the weather can change hour by hour and for this reason we allow for same day cancellations based on weather conditions.

If inclement weather occurs within one week following a completed service, the Company is not liable for any damage or dirt caused by the weather. We encourage customers to consider weather conditions when booking appointments and to contact us promptly if they wish to reschedule due to inclement weather forecasts.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules can change, but last-minute cancellations and no-shows affect our team’s productivity and ability to serve other clients. To account for this, cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee of up to 30% of the total job value. This fee helps cover our employees’ time and lost production due to missed appointments.

If a client does not show up for their scheduled appointment, our team will make every effort to contact them before charging the payment method on file. However, if we are unable to reach you, the cancellation fee may still apply.

Cancellations due to verified inclement weather will not be subject to this fee.

Emergency Service Cancellation

Longhorn Mobile Detailing is a family owned company and sometimes life happens. While the Company strives to adhere to the planned schedule, unforeseen emergencies may arise. In the event of an emergency necessitating the cancellation of a scheduled detailing service, the Company reserves the right to cancel within 1 hour of the service. Our commitment is to communicate promptly with the customer to explain the situation and arrange for the soonest available schedule opportunity.

Customers understand and accept that the Company will make every effort to reschedule the service at the earliest convenience and will keep them informed of any changes due to unforeseen emergencies. In such cases, customers are encouraged to reach out to the Company for further clarification and to discuss alternative scheduling options.

Photo and Video Usage

By agreeing to our services, customers allow the Company to use photos and videos taken during the detailing appointment for marketing purposes. These may include but are not limited to social media posts, advertisements, print campaigns, email campaigns, etc.

Marketing Communication

Phone numbers and email addresses provided by customers will be used for internal marketing purposes and will not be shared with third-party. Customers have the right to opt out of the Company's internal marketing.

Pet Hair Add-On

Removing pet hair can be very difficult and time consuming. Customers have the option to select a pet hair add-on when booking detailing services or at the start of their service for an additional cost. If the pet hair add-on is not selected, and our detailers arrive to find the vehicles covered in pet hair, the Company reserves the right to not spend extensive time cleaning it. The Company is not responsible for pet hair removal in such cases.

Excessive Dirt Add-On

In cases where vehicles exhibit excessive dirt that was not included in the initial service agreement, additional cleaning may be necessary. Depending on the severity of the dirt, additional charges may apply. Our detailer will discuss any necessary add-ons with the customer before proceeding with the service.

All Detailing Add-Ons

Any additional services or add-ons suggested by our detailer during the detailing process will be communicated and discussed with the customer before being added to the service. We believe in transparency and ensuring that customers are fully informed about any changes or additions to the agreed-upon service.

Documentation

The Company will maintain detailed records of each detailing service, including before-and-after photos, customer agreements, and any relevant communications.

Water Runoff and Product Leaks

The Company takes measures to bring and use its own detailing products, ensuring a high-quality service. However, the Company is not responsible for water running onto the driveway, sidewalk, or street as a result of the detailing process. Customers acknowledge that water runoff is a natural result of a detailing service.

Additionally, the Company is not responsible if soap or detailing products flow on to any landscaping or street. Our detailers take precautions to minimize environmental impact, but customers are advised to inform the detailing team of any sensitive areas or landscaping concerns before the service begins.

Customers understand and accept that the Company is not liable for any water runoff, soap, or product runoff and release the Company from any claims or damages arising from such occurrences.

Scented Products Disclaimer

The Company utilizes scented products and soaps as part of the detailing service. These scents may be present in the products used during the cleaning process. Customers should be aware that these scented products may have varying fragrances.

The Company is not liable for any health, allergy, or skin reactions that may occur as a result of exposure to these scented products. Customers with known sensitivities or allergies to scented products must inform the Company in advance of the service. Customers must notify the detailers as soon as possible if they prefer to have their own products used for their service.

By using our services, customers acknowledge and accept that the Company is not responsible for any adverse reactions to scents or fragrances in the products used during the detailing service.

Child Safety Seats
For safety and liability reasons, employees will not remove or reinstall child safety seats. If the customer fails to remove the seat, the team will clean around it but cannot guarantee the cleanliness underneath.

Service Finalization and Adjustments

Before finalizing your service, you'll have the opportunity to inspect your vehicle. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your detail, kindly address them with your detailer prior to signing off on the service. Our detailer will be happy to address any concerns you may have before completing the service.

Once the service is signed for, it is considered complete, and our detailer will be unable to return to your location for additional adjustments. Once our detailer leaves your job site, the service is considered finalized, and no further adjustments will be made.

  • Acceptance of Work: You have inspected the completed work to your satisfaction. By signing off, you accept the service "as is," and no further changes or corrections will be made after your signature.

  • No Further Adjustments: After signing off on the service, Longhorn Mobile Detailing is not responsible for making any further adjustments, corrections, or touch-ups. It is crucial to communicate any concerns before signing.

  • Non-Disparagement: Any concerns or disputes about the service should be addressed directly with Longhorn Mobile Detailing. You agree not to publicly post negative or disparaging remarks about the company, whether online or offline, without first giving us the opportunity to resolve the matter privately. We are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues.
